and

Ed Grunden,

Director of the Rock River Coalition’s Citizen Water Monitoring Program

Location: Promega Biotechnology Institute, 2800 Woods Hollow Road, Fitchburg

Dr. Bradbury will present a slide show explaining the hydrogeology system which underlies the Yahara Basin, including Fitchburg, and describe how scientists model and predict underground water movements.

Ed Grunden will detail how citizens in the Rock River watershed, of which Fitchburg is a part, are taking responsibility for testing the water in rivers and streams, and tell us how to set up a program of our own to help protect Lake Waubesa.

Ken and Ed will be available for a question and answer session following the presentations.
